Zob Ahan Earns Late Win over Esteghlal [VIDEO]

Tasnim - Zob Ahan football team edged past Esteghlal in Iran Professional League (IPL) thanks to an injury-time goal from Mohammad Reza Hosseini.

Zob Ahan defeated Esteghlal 2-1 in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium on Sunday.

Vouria Ghafouri opened Zob Ahan’s goal with a header in the 31th minute but Stanlley Soares Ferraz leveled the match from the penalty spot just after the hour mark.

Mohammad Reza Hosseini the winner with a header in the stoppage time to give Zob Ahan a home victory.

Zob Ahan leapfrogged Foolad at the second place but the team is behind IPL leader Persepolis with 13 points.
