Sports and especially football is an essential element of society as it brings people together. It is unlikely that this sector will receive a bailout by governments as they have their hands full due to all parts of the economy suffering. So far the solution has been for central banks to print money but the concern is that it will eventually create hyperinflation. If that happens it is unlikely to see many clubs survive as only those billionaire backers will be able to weather that storm.
