One step closer: Ronaldo seeking to get back to Manchester

As the final days of the summer transfer window are approaching, reports and speculations about Cristiano Ronaldo's future also increase.

According to the latest reports, the Portuguese ace seeks to change his team and move to Manchester City as this will raise his chances of winning more individual and team awards in the near future.

Ronaldo’s agent in Turin as Man City searching for central forward

Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has traveled to Italy's Turin to hold sessions with Juventus officials for the possible Transfer to the Primer League.

The Bianconeri has reportedly requested some $25 million for the transfer as Ronaldo has one more year contract with the team. Meanwhile, Manchester City is not willing to pay in cash for the move but may mull over a swap deal with Gabriel Jesus, although Guardiola is said to be against losing Jesus.

Besides that, Pep Guardiola's side is in need of a central forward as negotiations to hire Harry Kane from Tottenham failed and the striker said he will stay in London this season.

Surely enough, joining world-class players such as Ronaldo to any team can boost the prospects of winning their matches. You can also take your chance with the latest free bets and enjoy football from a new perspective.

Man City has reportedly offered a two-year deal to Ronaldo with a yearly salary of $17.5 million, which is almost half of the salary he is now receiving from Juve, but despite this, the Portugal Captain seems to be willing to play at the Etihad Stadium.

The move can also be beneficial for the Bianconeri as they will save some $690,000 a week that they have to pay for the player’s salary. This becomes crucial especially after one notes that Juventus is engaging with financial losses.

Allegri says Ronaldo will stay in Juve

Speculations about Ronaldo's decision to leave the Bianconeri were fueled after he was not put in the starting XI of the team in the first match of Series A where Allegri's side settled for a 2-2 draw against Udinese.

Allegri said after the game that he had told Ronaldo that he was going to be benched. "Ronaldo is feeling well. I had talked to him before the game, telling him he would start on the bench. He made himself available, he did well when he entered the pitch, he also scored a goal, but it was disallowed."

When asked about reports relating to the 36-year-old's transfer, the Italian coach said: "He has always trained well, I just read the gossip in the papers. He never told us he wanted to leave. Ronaldo told me that he is staying at Juventus," Goal reported.

Earlier reports had also linked Ronaldo with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint Germain. Obviously, most football fans around the world would love to see two legendary players and rivals, Messi and Ronaldo, play for a single team. However, the Paris-based team may no longer afford the transfer after they spent lavishly this summer.
