2022 World Cup Favorites

Each day that passes brings fans closer to the November start date for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as excitement is building for the biggest event in the football calendar – punters will already be preparing with odds becoming available at siti scommesse stranieri and there have been some welcome surprises too – two of the stronger teams that could make it have yet to go through as both Italy and Portugal will have to battle it out in the same group in order to make it to the event with one having to go home head in hand as both are fielding very strong rosters, whereas other teams such as Iran were the first to qualify from Asia and will take a lot of national pride into the world cup too – but who are the big favorites to win?

Qatar 2022

Despite having perhaps one of the youngest international teams out there, England have managed to put forward strong results over the past four years with a fourth place in 2018 having just fallen short, and a second place at the Euro 2020 tournament where the lack of experience was quite apparent. Belgium will also be in a similar position in terms of favorites too as it has been suggested it may be the final opportunity for some of the experienced players to experience international success and so the drive to pull out a big win could be fierce.

Current world cup holders France are currently one of the joint favorites to win – with a fierce attacking force they’ll be a danger to any team weak at the back but after their win in 2018 they weren’t able to bring forward the same commanding performance at the Euros. Five time winners Brazil will also be looking to extend the number of stars they have too, much like France they have a very strong attacking position and have been looking great too, they haven’t had much success internationally in the past couple of years however and in 2018 exited the competition quite early so there will be some criticisms if they can’t perform once again.

There are still a large number of qualifying games to be played however so there could be some dark horses that emerge in the tournament, particularly for the groups playing on Friday as there are some very strong teams still to qualify and could pose a problem for even the best of teams with the potential hosts of the 2030 cup Uruguay perhaps being one of those who could fall short.
