Everton football club have been going through a difficult period in the English Premier League in recent times, changing managers on several occasions. The ambition of everyone at Everton, including owner Farhad Moshiris to transform the club and wake the sleeping giant that is Everton FC. Whilst the club might not have won the trophies in recent memory, they do have a huge history and an extremely large fanbase, one of the biggest in football.
Evertonians have high ambitions to win trophies and compete at the top, however, the results on the pitch have been far from good enough. With previous manager Frank Lampard failing in his quest to provide success at the club, Sean Dyche will be tasked with the same goal, transforming the team into a powerhouse it once was.
In previous seasons, managers including Frank Lampard, Rafael Benitez and even Carlo Ancelloti all appeared to have the credentials to take the team from mid-table into the top, however neither could provide that. Aside from Carlo Ancelloti who left to join Real Madrid, all the others were sacked from their position.
The Toffees have tens of thousands of season ticket holders, many of which have voiced their concerns recently and will be excited by Sean Dyche as the new manager appointment.
Premier League Relegation Battle
Sean Dyche, the sixth manager in five years, will have to take the team from avoiding relegation, which in itself will be a major task. However, the former Watford and Burnley manager has had experience in this situation before taking Burnley to the top 10 of the Premier League on two occasions. The team will face leaders Arsenal on 4th February before travelling to city rivals Liverpool for the derby.

With a new £500 million stadium being developed at Bramley-Moore Docks, Everton really can be a real force in European football, they just need the right manager to transform them on the field. The new venue will have a capacity of 52,888, a 13,000 increase from current stadium Goodison Park and will become one of the biggest venues in the league.
