Iran Women’s Futsal Team Defeats Panama at World Cup [VIDEO]

PLDC - Iran claimed its first win at the 2025 FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup on Wednesday with an impressive 6–2 victory over Panama.

The result came as a strong response after Iran’s opening 4–1 loss to Brazil in Group D. The group also includes Italy, Brazil, and Panama. Italy had earlier dominated Panama with a 17–0 win.

Iran will play its final group-stage match against Italy on Saturday, November 29.

The 2025 Women’s Futsal World Cup is being held at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City, Philippines.
