Alireza Jahanbakhsh

Alireza Jahanbakhsh

Alireza Jahanbakhsh was born in 1993 and is currently playing for the Premier League club Brighton Hove & Albion. He has played for the Iranian national team since 2013 and is either playing as a winger or an attacking midfielder. Jahanbakhsh’s signing fee was a record for Brighton at the time and since 2018 he has appeared in 48 matches for the club. He won the Premier League Goal of the Month award in January 2020 and Eredivisie Top Scorer in the 2017-2018 season.

Saman Ghoddos

Ghoddos plays for the EFL Championship club Brentford as a striker, winger, or attacking midfielder. He signed a contract with Brentford after he spent a year with them on loan and since January 2021, he is an official player for the Bees. He scored three goals for Brentford in the EFL Championship, including in the match against Sheffield Wednesday in April. His contract with Brentford is up in the summer of 2023, but he has an option to extend it for another year.

Reza Ghoochannejhad

Reza Ghoochannejhad has played for fourteen clubs in his senior career, including his current club – PEC Zwolle, which competes in the Eredivisie. He was the first Iranian to:

• To score 19 goals in one season at a European league
• To win the A-League title
• To score 4 goals in a match at top European league
• To score a hat-trick in a match at top European league

Reza Ghoochannejhad also scored the fastest goal in Dutch football – in the 9th second and has other interesting individual achievements.

Sardar Azmoun

Sardar Azmoun plays for the Iranian national team and the Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg as a forward. He is the second-most expensive Iranian player of all-time after Brighton's Alireza Jahanbakhsh. He has 52 national caps and scored thirty-four goals for the Iranian national team. Sardar has won the Russian Premier League three times, the Russian Super Cup once, and the Russian Cup one time. He was also the top scorer at the RPL in the 2019-2020 season with 17 goals.

Steven Beitashour

Steven Beitashour started his senior career in 2007 as a defender and since then he has only played for US clubs, like Los Angeles FC, Colorado Rapids, Toronto FC, and others. He has scored seven goals in his career and three of them were for LA FC. He won the Supporter's Shield three times with three different clubs and the Canadian Championship three years in a row with two different clubs. Beitashour also played in the 2012 MLS All-Star game.
