5 Footballers Tipped for Success This Season

Whenever football pundits look to upcoming seasons and the players looking likely to achieve success, there’s plenty of choice to consider – particularly if taking into account the younger faces making their way through the ranks around the world.
In order to decide who’s going to be a veritable success in the realm of national and international football, there’s a variety of factors to consider, including goal-scoring capability, speed, tactical play and forethought, and team cohesion – oh, and pass success rate.
But which of the up-and-coming youngsters look set to take the football world by storm next season?
Ansu Fati
Even if you’re busy placing bets on the upcoming games of the summer and playing the abundance of games available on sites like www.spincasino.com in between matches, you might just have the time to spot some of the talent driving football forward.
This Guinea-Bassi youngster – who plays for football giants, Barcelona – has broken a whole host of records since he’s started playing 18 months ago, achieving the prestigious opportunity to join Barca’s first team without having to work his way through the ranks (and being one of very few players to achieve this honour).
Fati boasts impeccable skill, an abundance of confidence on-and-off the pitch, and an unstoppable pace, making him the perfect winger. Since starting for Barcelona in the 2019/20 season, he has become the team’s youngest ever league goal scorer, and looks set to continue his reign in the future, with pundits and ex-Barca players alike suggesting that he is going to lead the team into a new era. And, after his first month of the season saw him become La Liga’s MVP in September, it’s easy to see why he’s being tipped to take over Lionel Messi’s mantel!
The future looks bright for Fati and we can’t wait to see how he progresses.
Eduardo Camavinga
The French national and Rennes player is an awe-inspiring footballer who has been making waves since his arrival on the football scene just 18 months ago. The third-youngest player to be capped by France, Camavinga looks set to be included in the French team during the (re-scheduled) Euro 2020 competition this summer, and is sure to put on an exciting performance.
Gio Reyna
It’s rare that U.S. players are tipped for success in the realm of football, due to the sport’s lacklustre support base in the country itself. Gio Reyna, however, has shone on the European football stage in the last few years while playing for Borussia Dortmund.
As with Camavinga, Reyna has the ability to play in multiple different positions, being successful in each – he has huge potential on the international stage and should be watched closely next season; you won’t be disappointed!
Pedri
Another Barcelona talent (they always seem to snatch up the good ones!), Pedri has proven himself to be an excellent midfielder and was consequently dubbed as ‘the new Iniesta’ – a lofty title, indeed. Passed over by the other giants of the European stage, Real Madrid, Barcelona has proven to be the perfect place for Pedri, whose budding relationship with fellow teammate, Messi, on the pitch has been a sheer joy to behold. The two appear to have an unspoken understanding of the other’s gameplay and work seamlessly with one another – maybe the youngster can convince Messi to remain at Barca for one more season? We certainly hope so!
Jude Bellingham
Starting his career at Birmingham City, Jude Bellingham has proven himself to be a fantastic player at his new club, Borussia Dortmund. Another player who can be utilised in a range of forward and defensive positions, Bellingham has even made it onto the England squad (the third-youngest player ever to do so) as a fully-formed midfield talent. If we’re going to place bets on England’s summer squad for the Euros, we would put money on Bellingham being included!
Whatever you do this summer, be sure to keep an eye on these teens as they play – you might just be witnessing the arrival of footballing future!
